The TV is only about 4 years old and just one day the cable stopped working. Without the cable hooked up we can get a few channels like Discover, TV Land , HSN and a couple others (go figure). I haven’t called any repair places yet because I’m scared it will cost a whole lot. Give me some suggestions that hopefully won’t take a blow to my wallet.

I think this is the cable, please call the cable guy, and you can ask the cable gut on how much it would cost after that you can decide whether to fix it or not. But maybe this is just minor problem that don’t cost much.

sounds like you either need a new cable, or a new t.v.
