If you do not own a video game console, then you do not have a complete home entertainment set up. If you are constricted by finances, as to what you can afford to add to your collection, read on. Most people would not be in a position to buy every system out there, and there aren’t many out there who really want to.

The first thing to consider is what type of needs you have. Think about if you like to watch movies at home and would like to upgrade to BluRay. If you want true High def, then this is the best option. For the best experience, you should have an HDTV, BluRay player and the right HDMI cables. A good way to get a BluRay is to buy a PlayStation 3. It comes built in to the PlayStation, regardless of which model you choose. Some models also offer backward compatibility to play PlayStation and PS2 games as well. You can also go online with the PS3, given you have internet service already.

The Microsoft XBox 360 has some differences from the PS3. It does not come equipped with BluRay, and is more than one hundred dollars cheaper. If you do not care about high def movie playback, but prefer the bigger choice of games, this might be your best bet. It has online capability, as well. There is a monthly fee, but there will already be a community of fellow gamers waiting for you online. Yet another choice is the Nintendo Wii. It is cheapest of all the consoles. You can go online for some things and you can download lots of classic and old games.

The feature that sets this machine apart from the other two is in its unique way to interact with the games. It is based on motion sensors placed on top of the television and is completely wireless. It does not have the ability to play Blu-rays or DVDs, but again, is much less expensive. It is the type of machine that the whole family can play with and is easy for adults as well as young children to play. It is very accessible to many different demographics.

You can pretty much buy these systems anywhere. If you want to read more about them or compare prices, you can do that online. And if you are more technical minded and want to know more specs, you can find that online, too.

When assembling your new entertainment system, make sure to use the right plasma wall bracket for your tv. If you are looking for the right TV wall mount, visit selbyacoustics.com.au to find the perfect one for your set up.
